We invite you to join and take time for reflection whenever it suits you.
The World Day of Prayer is a worldwide Christian movement led by women, bringing people together in prayer and action for peace and justice in communities across the globe. Each year, people in more than 170 countries gather on the same day to share worship, reflection and a spirit of unity.
The Temple Society Australia is proud to host the 2026 World Day of Prayer service on Friday, 6 March 2026 at 10.30am, at 152 Tucker Road, Bentleigh. The service will feature the McKinnon Secondary Senior Singers and is supported locally by 14 churches, making it a meaningful expression of ecumenical connection within our community.
Everyone is warmly invited to attend and take part in this long-standing tradition of prayer, reflection and solidarity.
The 2026 service centres on the theme “I Will Give You Rest: Come” (Matthew 11:28–30), with Nigeria as the focus country. Through prayer, music and shared stories, participants are invited to reflect on faith, resilience and hope, while learning more about the lives and experiences of women in Nigeria.
