Each year, the Templer Reflections team meets to plan topics. This year we thought it was time to give our younger people a voice, a chance to hear what they are thinking, doing, worried about or enjoying. You’ll also find a creative short story from one of our budding authors!
On July 21, Jess Blackwell and Christine Ruff led a Youth Service, gathering contributions from several of our youth and their ideas were so engaging that we asked to include them in this publication.
It’s been wonderful reaching out to our youth and we hope we can continue to give them a platform in future editions.

In 2013, the monthly Templer Talk took on the role of community newsletter, while Templer Reflections became the vehicle for thoughtful, perceptive writings on a multitude of topics, including many from a faith and spiritual perspective.
Over the years, we've published 36 issues. In this special edition, Mark Herrmann has curated a selection of contributions from these past issues. The wealth of thoughtful words and interesting topics is so abundant that our special edition is presented in two volumes, reflecting the richness of our community's discussions and insights.
Happy reading!
