ABOUT

GERMAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL – TEMPLE SOCIETY AUSTRALIA, established more than 60 years ago, is a fully accredited after-hours community language school for children and a member of Community Languages of Victoria.

We cater for school students who:

  • come from families in which German is spoken consistently with at least one parent (Muttersprachler)
  • are learning, or want to start learning, German as a Second Language

We offer small classes which are taught by qualified teachers of German who engage in ongoing professional development. A personal atmosphere based on trust, acceptance and respect contributes to the successful learning of German. We understand the interrelation between language and culture and participate in events, such as the AGTV German Poetry Competition, as well as organise our own cultural activities.
